Not many people could do what they do…married and manage family businesses together.  Mansour and Jasmin met thru mutual friends and after 14 years of marriage have opened two very successful Lexington businesses.  Yasmine’s Salon opened in 1997, which offerings mostly hair cut, color and nail treatments.  Then in 2006 Jasmin, together with Dr. Kathy Martin - internal medicine doctor (and of course her husband Mansour!), opened Laser Perfect Med Spa.  Laser Perfect offers a wide variety of services and treatments, such as Botox, massages, hair removal, facials, makeup application and much more.  

Jasmin and Mansour don’t completely run these businesses totally separate from one another, at least not physically. Jasmin spends her time between the businesses, where Mansour primarily runs Yasmine’s.   Mansour furthered his training out in California with Vidal Sassoon and if you ask his long list of clients, he really is an expert at what he does.  These two professionals have done what most entrepreneurs do:  they do what they love and they love doing it…together!  Sure there are risks, but without risks they can be no rewards.  It also seems to run in the family, Jasmin and Mansour have quote, “4,000,000,000,000,000 family members and they all own businesses.”  They live here in Lexington and have an adorable seven year old son.

In Lexington its Bellini’s hands down, however I go home to Detroit a few times a year because I can’t find anything that beats their restaurants.

Depends on my mood, either Malibu on the rocks or a french martini.

What is in your beauty bag
Glo Minerals make up for their great coverage and feeling bare at the same time, eye lash curler, and last my Loreal lash mascara (sold at Laser Perfect Med Spa!!)

Any style advice
Find your individual style and wear it with confidence,  hold your head up high and own it.

Madonna. I cant believe thats my answer either. But, you have to hand it to her, throughout the decades she’s continuosly reinvented her style while pulling off each look with flare.

Style wish list
I wish to be a perfectly toned size two, then I would be able to pull off any style.

Favorite products
Pureology glossing mist, great shine, very light and smells clean.  Chi volume booster spray gel, great root lifter for volume and hold.  Pravada leave-in conditioner, detangles and conditions instantly without the weight. I had to sneaks this in…nail tek (cheap version of nailtique). Its a miracle in a 1/2 ounce bottle individualized for different nail problems. You’ll swear by this stuff like I do.

Favorite Hollywood hair
Jessica Alba, for its great versitility.  It can be worn wild and curly, sexy and straight, or swept up and elegant.

Any color tips
Your natural color enhanced is always best, however lighten, brighten, darken, redden, deepen and just have fun,don’t take it so seriously, its only hair.

No beauty bag, but in my closet I have a firm holding gel to control my curls.

Any style advice
Don’t be sensitive, a good friend should not let you out of the house looking like a crack head.  Listen to good advice.

My client Shannon Lisk, she has a successful interior design business, a mother of two great boys, and she works 24/7, and yet everytime I’ve seen her she is very well put together from her hair, to her outfit, down to her shoes, perfect. We need more icons like that!
