LCF has partnered with Central Baptist Hospital to provide a series of education forums on various cancer topics offered free to the public. The series is held in at the Central Baptist Education Center located in Lexington, Kentucky. Each series begins with forty five minutes of shopping with vendors and light refreshments, followed by a panel discussion of experts.

I love the Fall Shoe Guide in this month’s Luckymag.com – especially the section devoted to the Platform Loafer! I especially ‘heart’ the ‘What do your fall shoes say about you?’ section of their website. Why? Well, it’s two-fold – first, I love looking at the shoes selected to highlight for fall – second, this quote on their site because it’s so me: ‘You’re practical. You wore your Weejuns to death in college, but now can’t leave the house in a flat.’……can I get an amen. No flats. Check it out and pay close attention to the Jessica Simpson ‘Ireena’ – it’s perfection.

Now granted all hair is different hair. Some drugstore blonde ambition products don’t work for everyone – however – This John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Controlled Lightening Spray, $10, has yet to disappoint. I am not in anyway suggesting you keep your salon visits to a minimum….no way….but in a pinch keep this product on hand!
So blonde hautemommas….get to the drugstore and try it out!
