Glam Makeup

August 22, 2007

This fall, Glam is back. As seen on models during the Fall 2007 fashion shows, creamy red lips and smoky, purple eyes rule the season. Dany Sanz, creator of Make Up For Ever, teaches you how to turn the look into your own:

Red lips are sexy and classic.
Line lips with a waterproof lip liner such as Aqua Lip #9C ($16.00) to create definition and to keep lipstick put. Fill in lined lips with a cherry red, moisturizing lipstick like Lipstick #207 ($18.00). Seal the deal with a lip sealant to keep the red hue from fading throughout the day such as NEW Lip Seal ($20.00).

Purple reigns for the eyes. Here’s a great look that works for day as well as evening:
Line top lash line with a deep purple cream liner, such as the NEW Aqua Creamliner #5 ($20.00). Swipe a burgundy shadow such as NEW Diamond Eye Shadow #311 ($20.00) over the lid and brow bone. Finish the look with two coats of a lash extending mascara such as Lengthening Mascara ($19.00).

We are big fans of the Aqua liners for lips and eyes…they last forever and are quick & easy to apply! Check them out at Sephora!
